RADLEY’S ROOSTERS PLANS
Roosters enforcer Victor Radley has reportedly told his management to shun the offers of rival clubs and strike a deal to remain with the Tricolours.
The 24-year-old is off-contract at the end of the 2023 season and has been free to negotiate with other clubs since November 1.
However, the English international has made his intentions clear according to the SMH and will likely re-sign to remain under Trent Robinson.
Roosters chairman Nick Politis said Radley’s commitment to the club “means a lot”.
“We love Victor and he loves the club,” Politis said.
“His manager (Sam Ayoub) called me and said Victor wants to do a deal and didn’t want to play the market.
“He is a Rooster and we want to keep him.”
Radley was front and centre of the headlines following a bust-up with Ireland international James Bentley at the World Cup.
The NRL Integrity Unit has reportedly contacted England’s rugby league governing body.
Radley could be hit with a suspension to start the NRL season, pending an investigation, however it is looking increasingly unlikely any sanction will be handed down.
